This is why I.O.INC makes AK and STG (WIEGER) rifles in the US
I.O.INC imported its products from overseas for a long time. When products were received, many times the quality was substandard. E.g. from 1000 imported firearms only 700 passed I.O.INC quality control. Basically, 300 rifles had to be scrapped. After this experience, I.O.INC decided to manufacture its products right here in the US.
I.O.INC (Inter Ordnance) invested heavily in tooling and equipment for the last 2 years. Now all AK, STG (WIEGER) and SSG rifles are proudly made in the US.
All rifles have a mil-spec heat-treated receiver (1.1mm), a match grade barrel, tactical polymer furtniture with a Picatinny rail system (AK47-C series).
