This rare adapter is for use with the M8 signal flare pistols and was manufactured by McInery Spring and Wire Company during WWII. This mount would be installed in the side of an aircraft such as a bomber for communicating via flare. The mount is in good shape and is 100% functional. Comes with the cap and chain too!
